Testimonials

Excellent entertainment, but be prepared for a loud dinner. The food was good and plentiful. You definitely get your monies worth. Our 5 year old loved it. She sung and dance and the waitstaff made her feel special. Cheaper than a Broadway show.

Great lunch in NYC at Ellen's Stardust Diner. Crowded, fun atmosphere with singing and performing wait staff. Food was good, prices reasonable for NYC, quick service.

Menu had plenty of variety. Lamb Stew, burgers and wraps were really good. all about 15 to 20 each. Entertained by Broadway hopeful"s singing from different directions in the two story resturant. Service was great and located not far from Times Square. Lines can be long but a great experience for all ages.

The diner interior whisks you away to another world and then you get lost in the amazing talent and voices of the singing waitstaff. They were so polite, kind, friendly and talented! The singing varied on genre and they all took turns to sing and dance. It felt like being in a show as we ate! The milk shakes were lovely (especially the adult ones) the menu was varied and had something for everyone! Lovely evening and restaurant!

Good food, great entertainment! The line outside looks long but don't be afraid. It moves quickly. It's worth the wait to hear some future Broadway stars showcase their talent while serving your food. Listen to the singers croon, enjoy the food and know that you'll be sitting close to other patrons.

What a fun place! The food was reasonably priced (for New York) and very good. The best part was the show. The waiters all take turns singing to the crowd, paying special attention to their individual tables. What a way to put you in "the New York state of mind!"

Went for Sunday breakfast/brunch. The food was fine - typical diner and pretty reasonably priced for Times Square - but the main attraction is the great singing. My husband thought we were nuts to come, but he had as much fun as our child! If you have children, it's well worth a short wait to enjoy the show. Very friendly staff, good service, reasonably priced food and fantastic atmosphere!

6 of us (2 kids 4 adults) had a late lunch yesterday. We were graciously welcomed and seated within several minutes. Service was good and the wait staff have amazing voices and are very talented. We enjoyed every minute! Will go again.

This place is great… Corny but great. Go for a breakfast and start your day with a real buzz. All plastic and neon, this diner is about as tacky as it gets – food is OK, but the talent is genuine. Delight in the success stories of previous waiting staff that have made it to the 'big time'. An experience not to be missed, enjoy!

We ate breakfast here. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, Brooklyn bagel & Denver omelette. The atmosphere is very nice with good food. I would not say they are big portions and is a little pricey. The servers take turns singing songs as they try to find there way to making it to broadway. The service was very good. It is always entertaining to go here.

The reason why I gave this 4 stars is because..HELLO!! Your waiter and other waiters around you take turns singing new/old songs acapella style. They walk ALL around the restaurant, then right after, go and take your order. How fun is that???
